L.F.A. is the abbreviation of "Longueur de Fil Absorbé," a French technical term used in the knitting industry, meaning "Length of Thread Used" in a knitted piece.

We are a small artisanal knit design studio located in New York City. We offer a micro-collection of knitted goods, such as shawls, fingerless gloves, mittens, and hats. We develop all of our prototypes in-house. Some items are made entirely by us, and some are made in collaboration with a family-run workshop located in New Jersey. Either way, every single piece passes through our hands assuring that its quality is perfect before it is shipped.

Our items are exclusive in a sense that we only produce a limited number of pieces per season.

Over the years we have reached a select and strongly convinced group of customers.
